Betsy Loughran

Betsy joined UUFES in 2006 and has served as member and chair of the Finance Committee. She is retired after a career as President/CEO of a human service agency in western New England that developed community programs for people who previously lived in psychiatric or developmental disabilities facilities or in foster care or reform schools. She grew up in Evanston, IL, and graduated from Wellesley College. Betsy spent summers in Tamworth beginning in the 1960s and moved here in 2019, living behind her daughter Peg’s house and Sunnyfield Bakery. Her son David lives in Los Angeles, and she has three grandchildren.
