Barbara moved to Conway in 2012 after retiring as a corporate paralegal in Worcester MA. She joined UUFES in 2014, attracted by the Book Group. She served on the Membership and Sunday Services Committees during the ministerial interim period and joined the Governing Board in 2018, first serving as secretary and then elected president in 2022. Barbara’s social justice interests led to participating in the Book Group’s creation of a Statement of Recognition of Indigenous People, the raising of our Black Lives Matter banner, and the annual renewal of UUFES’s LGBTQ+ Welcoming Congregation certification.
Barbara loves reading historic fiction, kayaking, hand crafts, and easy hikes on NH’s beautiful trails.
