John Frenz

John grew up in Syracuse, NY, a place he revisits frequently. He got degrees at Yale and MIT, and has worked in Oklahoma, Canada, Paris, California, Colorado and Massachusetts, mostly in the biotechnology industry. Since retiring from industry, he has taught at Northeastern University and worked with NGOs in the area of global health. John has two adult children, grand-pets (rather than grandchildren), and mainly lives on Silver Lake with his partner, Janice. He spends much of his time there rowing, kayaking, working on the house, cooking, reading and exploring his Japanese, Irish, and German heritage.
